Click here for a list of some of the projects I’ve been involved with. I have a background in journalism, television (public tv and cable) and non-broadcast video. Journalism: Editor-in-Chief, The Daily Talk (Sixth grade, Seaford, Long Island) – all the class gossip, news, jokes and sightings that would fit on two typewritten pages, with fanciful layout and occasional hand-drawn illustrations. Newsstand price “only Editor-in-Chief, Argus Magazine (University of Maryland) – inventive, provocative student feature magazine. Also reporter and columnist for daily newspaper, The Diamondback. Journalism major, business administration minor, and Reporter/feature writer, The Paper (weekly culture, Editor/writer for magazine and newsletters for school services of WNVT, Northern Virginia Public TV. I took advantage of the opportunities there and began writing dramatic instructional scripts, and then shifted into productions (see below). Visual Experience: Director, Editor, Production Manager, WNVT-TV – Directed dozens of studio and remote shows, live and taped. Including public affairs, concerts, auctions, instructional, dramatic. As production manager, hired, scheduled and trained crew and volunteers; managed productions. New York interlude: freelance shooting and writing (screenplays, one optioned). Videographer, Producer, Director, Editor, Operations Director, Video Software Associates, Arlington, Virginia.
